Big news - NZ Property Investor and Informed Investor magazines have been purchased by Joanna Mathers and Sally Fullam - current editor and art director of the magazines.

Sold by Opes Partners to the pair, it represents an exciting new era for the magazines

"We are passionate about print," says Mathers. "Between us we have worked in the print publishing business for around 50 years. We have also developed an excellent digital offering for both magazines as well and we're excited about the future of both publications."

A larger version of New Zealand Property Investor magazine will now be printed on a bi-monthly basis, with the next issue coming out in February.

"The magazine is going up in size by 25 per cent and we will be redesigning it and including a lot of great new features," says Mathers.

Informed Investor will remain a quarterly magazine and readers can look forward to more of the same intelligent, enlightening content.

Operating as Informed Media, the magazines will benefit from being completely independent and run by experts in publishing.

"We know how the industry works and want to encourage people to keep buying printed work - it's a wonderful antidote to digital saturation," says Mathers.
